These are the required dates for year. Please make sure that they are marked in your calendar. Attendance is mandatory for all rehearsals and performances.

Grading Policy:
- 40% Concert & Dress Rehearsal Attendance
- 30% SmartMusic Assessments
- 30% Daily Class Participation
SmartMusic Info:
All graded playing assessments will be made using the SmartMusic software. Upon enrollment, students will begin to automatically receive electronically distributed playing assignments and email notifications. Students can view computer assessment grades in real time, and can review their recordings with teacher feedback later through the integrated gradebook. While these assessments may be completed on school equipment, a home subscription is strongly recommended. This year’s SmartMusic student subscription rate is $36, and the microphone is $20.
